Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I know if I’m eligible?
You must be over 18 to participate. We are currently available in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
What is your privacy policy?
Previvor takes privacy seriously and follows all applicable laws and regulations to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information, including HIPAA and HITECH. We collect your information in order to provide and support your medical care and improve our services. Previvor does not sell personal information.
Do I need to travel or will this be done remotely?
The visits with the Previvor team will all be done remotely, via telemedicine. Relevant testing—such as genetic testing—can be shipped to you, so you can do that from the comfort of your home. Cancer screenings and other specialist visits will likely require you to visit an office. We aim to recommend specialists who are in your community, are covered by your insurance, and have availability.
What screenings and tests do you utilize?
Each risk assessment and Previvor Edge Plan is tailored to you. Given this, the referrals, screenings and tests ordered will vary. That said, some of the tests and screenings we might order include:
- Hereditary cancer genetic testing
- Tyrer-Cuzick breast cancer risk score
- Hemoglobin (HbA1c)
- Lipid Panel
- Vitamin D
- Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- MRI
- Ultrasound
- Endoscopy
- Multi-cancer detection tests
